About Snow Angels Kennels

I was born and raised in upstate New York on a dairy farm. As a young child, animals have always been a part of my life.

My husband, Randy, was also born and raised on a dairy farm in New York and continues to work with dairy.

As I was growing up on our family farm, I never could understand why people would drop their animals off for us to take care of. It would break my heart to see the fear in their eyes as their owners would drive away. I vowed that I would never let a dog go through life feeling the fear and neglect that I would so often see.

With this dream in mind, Snow Angels was established in July 2002 on 22 acres of land near Richfield Springs, New York.

Since July 2002, I have had the opportunity to rescue abused and neglected American Eskimo dogs. It took a lot of time and patience to work with these dogs to regain their trust. It was not too long after we brought them home, I introduced them to their brothers and sisters and they began to relax and feel at home at Snow Angels. They now have gained confidence that they have found a place to call home and they are home.

We strive to do our best to improve each litter that is whelped at our kennel. We want every family to be completely satisfied with their new family member. We ask that you keep in touch with us from time to time to let us know how the puppy is growing. We do enjoy receiving photographs to add to our Snow Angels photo album.

We home raise and socialize all of our puppies while they are here with us. We feel that this is very important so they are ready to make the transition at 8 weeks to go to their new home.
